FAYE LYNNITTE ROBERTSON was born on July 27, 1942 to the union of Willie and Irene Wade in Eldorado, Arkansas.
Faye accepted our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at an early age. She loved the Lord, praying for others, and doing her own Prison Ministry. She was known for sending out cards of encouragement. She was a former member of Friendship Baptist Church of Tyler, TX from 1979-1991. She was a faithful, dedicated, loyal and humble steward at New Generation Baptist Church in Tyler, TX from January 7, 1991 until she moved to Dallas, Texas in 2001. She taught Sunday school, vacation bible school, spiritual growth classes and worked in the Women's Ministry. She also served at the soup kitchen in Tyler. When Faye relocated to Dallas, she looked for a church home, and she found her current church of New Generation Baptist Church of Dallas, were she was a faithful member until her death.
Faye married Archie White Sr. and they had three children with that union, Kenneth White (Carmeia) of Dallas, TX, Kim White-Gipson (Frederick) of Dallas, TX and Archie White (Gina) of Tyler, TX. While in California she met and married on February 7, 1971, her late husband Crawford Roberson until his death in 2000. With this union, she had no children, but she believed that all the kids were family. She had stepchildren: Cleo Robertson of Colorado, Gary Robertson (Debra) of Mansfield, TX, Margie Hawkins of California, Janet Millender (Ken) of McKinney, Larry Robertson of McKinney, and Darrell Robertson (Jerri) of Frisco, TX. Faye completed her Associates Degree from Contra Costa College in California. Faye worked and retired from Mother Francis Hospital, Tyler, TX after working 26 years as a Clerk in the Pacemaker Clinic.
Faye was preceded in death by her late husband, Crawford Robertson; parents: Willie and Irene Wade; brothers: Willie Wade Jr. of California, Eddie L. Wade of South Bend, IN and Jerry Wade of California. She leaves her four grandchildren: Jarrod White of Lancaster, TX, Kenneth White II of Atlanta, GA, Kortni White of Tyler, TX and Cederick Gipson of Dallas, TX; a host of step grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special friends. Faye has two special friends that always reached out and kept in touch with her, Francine Fulbright and Dottie Puckett, both from Tyler, TX.
