FLOYD MITZ

Floyd Mitz peacefully transitioned to eternal rest on May 17, 2018. He was born on February 28, 1936 in Caruthersville, MO. He resided in Dallas, TX. He served in the United States Army. He later retired from General Motors of 32 years.

He was a fun loving and well respected person who always had humorous stories to share. He  believed in working hard and taking care of business. He enjoyed laughing and being around friends and family, having a good time.

Floyd Mitz was not your average 82 year old.

He joined his three siblings, Horace, Lawrence and Carl and  Mae R. Mitz who preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his siblings, Darlene (Allen), Shirley Samuel, Meechum; children, Opal (Robert), Sherdon (Marcus), Renard, Rainey and Robin; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
