Born on April 10, 1958, in Denver, Colorado, Gary's journey through life was marked by his unwavering loyalty, care for others, and a persistent sense of humor that brought joy to those around him.

A proud graduate of Prairie View A&M, Gary dedicated much of his career to the retail industry, where he was recognized not only for his work ethic but also for his ability to connect with customers and colleagues alike. His professional life reflected his love for interaction and community, showcasing a man who genuinely cared about those he encountered.

Beyond work, Gary had a passion for music; he was not only an enthusiastic pianist and drummer but also a devoted fan of football and basketball. His love for music and sports was infectious, often bringing family and friends together for gatherings filled with laughter, great food—especially his delicious barbecues—and heartfelt conversations.

Gary’s proudest accomplishments lay in his strong family ties and his unwavering love for music. He was known to be a jokester, bringing warmth to family gatherings and brightening everyone's day with his wit. His ability to combine humor with genuine care left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

The community will gather to celebrate Gary's life on March 14, 2025. The visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. Family and friends are invited to a funeral service on March 15, 2025 at Macedonia B.C., beginning at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, located at 1311 Murdock Rd, Dallas, TX 75217.
