On October 14, 1957, Geneva Dickens was born to mother, Ruby Johnson and father, Henry Dickens who preceded her in death. She was the 5th child growing up with six sisters: Bettie Brown and Esta Allen who also preceded her in death and sisters still here with us are Nancy Pittman, Margaret Jarrett, Susan Porter and Sandra Parham.
Geneva grew up and received all her academic achievements in Mineral Wells Texas. This too is where she would start one of her greatest accomplishments which is motherhood. She would first be blessed with her daughter Heather Dickens and 9 years later she would have a son name Sable “Joe” Dickens. God allowed Geneva to spread her love even further when she became a grandmother to Daijiah Smith and Hyllary Dickens and also a great grandmother to Hyndrix Dickens. In 2004, she continued spreading her love by marrying Hollie Bible and with such a great and profound last name she wore it well.
Geneva also had her share of obstacles in life while fighting cancer not once but twice. Even while enduring this she continued to keep her faith and knew that God was in control. With the help of her family, church family and friends she always knew she had all the love and support she could ever want and need.
On Friday, May 14th the Lord chose to call Geneva home to be with him and she will be dearly missed by many.
