George was known for his unwavering support for the Dallas Cowboys, a true fan through and through. His enthusiasm for the team brought joy to many around him, reflecting his vibrant spirit and dedication to the sports he loved.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be cherished by all who knew him. George's memory will live on in the hearts of his surviving family members, who will forever hold him dear. Wake  to commemorate George Douglas Buchanan Jr's life will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas on June 14, 2024, 7:15 PM -8:15 PM followed by a Funeral Service at River of Life Church in DeSoto on June 15, 2024. At 11:00 AM. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
