George Eric Weaver, a man of many talents and endless determination, passed away on March 1, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. George embraced a variety of careers throughout his life, excelling as a plumber, chef, and in construction, showcasing his mastery in numerous trades. His culinary skills were particularly renowned, with his delectable meals leaving an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of tasting his steaks.
Born on January 26, 1960, in Gary, Indiana to the parentage of George W. Weaver and Frances Thompson Weaver. George embarked on a journey filled with remarkable experiences and achievements. He served proudly in the US Army, demonstrating his unwavering dedication to his country. George's pursuit of knowledge led him to complete some college courses, at Bishop College shaping his intellect and broadening his horizons.
Described as witty, headstrong, and incredibly intelligent, George was a force to be reckoned with. He lived life on his own terms, setting an example of resilience and fearlessness for those around him. His vibrant personality and sharp wit endeared him to many, creating lasting memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his mother, father and older brother Jesse L. Black, Jr.
George leaves behind 3 sisters: Frances Sheffield, Cassandra Black and Deborah Weaver;1 brother Melvin Weaver and a host of nieces, nephews other family members and friends. While we mourn the loss of such a remarkable individual, we also celebrate the life he lived and the impact he had on those fortunate enough to cross paths with him.
