GLENDA NELL JONES

GLENDA NELL JONES, born on August 14, 1951, peacefully departed this life on February 13, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. Known affectionately as a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, Glenda embodied the spirit of generosity and warmth. Her heart was vast enough to give her last to those in need, reflecting her sweet nature.

A woman of many interests, Glenda found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She delighted in dancing, celebrating both family gatherings and quiet moments at home filled with music. Her laughter echoed through her household as she shared her love for good food and singing. Glenda also enjoyed the thrill of card games, often bringing her family together around the table, where she created cherished memories.

Her faith played an integral role in her life, as she attended church, where she found solace and community. In her leisure time, Glenda embraced watching the story’s  through her favorite television shows, Enjoying dramas such as "CSI," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "The Young and the Restless," "General Hospital," and "One Life to Live." These programs allowed her to unwind and connect with characters she loved.

Glenda's passing is mourned deeply, and she will be remembered fondly by her family and friends. As we celebrate her life, we honor her unwavering spirit and the countless lives she touched with her kindness.

Viewing services will be held on Friday February 21, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. A funeral service will follow the next day, Saturday February 22, 2025, beginning at 5:00 PM at the same location.
