GRETCHEN SAMPSON MCNEALY

Gretchen Sampson McNealy, beloved educator, graceful mentor, and cherished member of the community, passed away on April 22, 2024. Born on February 14th, 1936, in Commerce, TX, Gretchen dedicated her life to shaping young minds through her passion for education.

Gretchen's impact extended far beyond the classroom; her warmth and kindness touched the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her gentle spirit and unwavering dedication to her students left an indelible mark on generations of learners.

In addition to her successful career as an educator, Gretchen was known for her radiant personality. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcomed and loved. People would travel from near and far just to bask in the light of her presence.

Gretchen will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving family and friends, who will carry forward her legacy of compassion and generosity.

Visitation services will be held at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Center, TX, on May 4th, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. 
Celebration of Life ceremony will follow at the same location at 1:00 PM.

Gretchen Sampson McNealy will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those she inspired and nurtured. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
