Hattie Miller, the daughter of Bob Robinson and Nellie Washington, was born February 10, 1941 in Temple, Texas. She was called home May 19, 2018, to be with the Lord.
Hattie is preceded in death by her parents; son, Clifford Miller; siblings, Era, Vera, Lollie, Corine, Robert, and Elisha; and daughter-in-law, Barbara Carr.
Hattie graduated from Dunbar High School in Temple, Texas, and then later moved to Fort Worth, Texas, then to Dallas, Texas. She was a nurse for Grace Presbyterian Village, where she retired after 30 years.
Hattie was a faithful member of Dixon Circle Missionary Baptist Church. If you ever needed a hug, laughter, or whatever it was, she was there to provide it. She was a woman of strength, a heart of gold, and a queen who was loved by many.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughters, Jackie Brown (Greg Sr.), Sonjia Carr (Dwayne), and Renee Easter (James); son, Robert Carr; brother, Burnnie; special goddaughter, Marion Hampton; daughter-in-law, Shontrice Williams; nine grandchildren, Harold Carr, Sharhonda Carr (Tario), Dominique Brown, Gregory Brown, Jr., Willie Easter III, Darrius Easter, Alexis Carr, Shavauntis Brown (Roderick), and Brandelyn Williams; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
