HELEN JACKSON

Helen Ann Jackson was born April 4, 1936 in Nacogdoches, Texas. She passed away June 11, 2022 at the age of 86.

She was baptized at a young age and was a member of Carver Heights Baptist Church by Pastor Tyler Carter.

She was a caring, loving and devoted mother and wife. She was everyone’s Big Mama and big sister. A God fearing woman that would pray for you if you needed it. She went beyond to help others and impacted everyone she met.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Tellis & Louise Jackson, grandson Clifford Earl Hawkins (November 9, 1994), son Billy James Jackson (November 11, 2013), sisters Mary Jackson, Dolly Hallman, Helen Walker, brothers T.L. Jackson, Roy Jackson, Tellis Jackson.

Married December 20, 1954 in Lubbock, TX to Artis J. Jackson. She is survived by her husband Artis James Jackson, married 67 years; son Tony Jackson; daughter Aeline Willis; granddaughter Toshia Willis; brother Henry Jackson, Albert Ray Jackson; sisters Marie McMillon, Maureen Duffield and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
