A Business Owner, Henry dedicated his career to selling and repairing appliances, a venture that allowed him to blend commerce with a personal touch, enriching the lives of those he served. Yet, his true legacy lies far beyond his professional achievements. Outgoing and joyful, Henry was a passionate evangelist and a Bishop, known for his intense love for God and his relentless drive to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His ministry reached across local boundaries and international waters, as he actively donated Bibles to Africa and seized every opportunity to preach and minister to those he encountered. His reputation as a soul winner painted him as a beacon of hope and inspiration, illuminating the paths of numerous souls seeking faith.
In remembrance of his impactful life, friends and family are invited to gather at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas, for a Service of Celebration on August 28, 2024, beginning at 7:15 PM and concluding at 8:15 PM. The following day, August 29, 2024, at 11:15 AM, he will be laid to rest at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, a serene final resting place where his indomitable spirit can continue to inspire.
Henry’s education began in the halls of the Dallas Independent School District, where seeds of curiosity and knowledge were sown. After completing his studies, he served valiently in the U.S. Army for three years, fighting in the Korean War and demonstrating a courage that mirrored his spirit in all walks of life.
He is fondly remembered not only for his vibrant character but also for the enormous space he occupied in the hearts of those around him. Survived by his brother, LC Richardson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends, Henry leaves behind a community that embodies the love and principles he lived by. His wife, Mae Evelyn Richardson, has preceded him in passing, her memory intertwined with his as they navigated life's journey together.
