Horace Smith Jr., affectionately known as "Buggy," passed away on April 14, 2024, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He born on May 20, 1956, and throughout his life, he exemplified the qualities of a protective family man.

Buggy's devotion to his loved ones was unwavering, and he found immense joy in being surrounded by family and friends. His presence brought warmth and comfort to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Buggy had a special fondness for watching his favorite team, The Dallas Cowboys, which brought him many hours of entertainment and camaraderie.

He will be dearly missed by his surviving family members. Buggy's memory will also be cherished by numerous friends and acquaintances whose lives he touched with his kindness and sincerity.

A visitation in memory of Horace Smith Jr. will be held at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas on April 20, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM. A funeral service will follow at the same location at 3:00 PM to honor and celebrate his life.

As we bid farewell to Buggy, we remember him not with sadness, but with gratitude for having been blessed by his presence.
