HOWARD DONAHUE

Howard Donahue Sr. was born December 16, 1935 in Fairfield, Texas to the parents of Willie II and Myrtle V. Brackens Donahue, both preceded him in death. He attended public school in Fairfield and later moved to Dallas to live with his father, step mother and step brother. He met and married Gracie Mae Carney Cunningham and to this union three children were born. Two sons, Howard Donahue Jr. and Nathaniel Shelton and grandson, Rodney Darnell Donahue also preceded him in death. He worked at Children’s Medical Center, Davis Building and Hill Printing for 35 plus years. He was preceded in death by his brother Morris Donahue, Charles Donahue, Billy King & Dwight King. He leaves to cherish his memories: children, Charles Cunningham (Glendora), Maerine Donahue Anthony, Harold Dwayane Donahue; grandchildren Christa Cunningham, Michelle McCullough (Terry) Tamika Donahue Brooks (Derrick), Jaison Cunningham (Tiara), Deanna Donahue, Desmond Donahue, Dominique Donahue, Eric Duncan (Michelle); 15 great-grandchildren; siblings Bernie Solomon, Keith King, Gloria Hardin, Brenda Westin & Linda Branch, and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
