IRIS ODELL POWELL, aged 65, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025, in Garland, Texas. Born on March 6, 1959, in Swisher County, Texas, Iris was cherished individual whose presence brought joy and to those around her.

Iris, known at birth as Iris White, blossomed into a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many throughout her journey. Her dedication and kindness left an indelible mark on her family and friends. Iris exemplified strength and resilience, qualities that endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her funeral service is scheduled for February 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM, to be held at Laurel Land Memorial Park located at 6000 S R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas, Texas, 75232. This gathering will provide family and friends an opportunity to celebrate her life and remember the beautiful moments they shared with her.
