JAMES COLEMAN

James was born in Clarksville, Texas to Dewitt Coleman and Joella Oliver Coleman. He graduated from Cheatum High School in 1959 where he met and married his best friend of 63 years, Ethel Scales. James accepted Christ at an early age. He was a member of New Horizon Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the Usher Board. James worked at Clearwater Construction where he retired in 1991.

He is preceded in death by his son Donnell Coleman, mom Joella, father Dewitt, brothers David, Harold, Joey, John, Bobby, Alvin, Dewitt Jr., George and sister Betty Joe.

James leaves to cherish his memories: wife Ethel; children Debra Cathy, James Jr., Jimmy, Calvin (Taquita) and Shelia; his sister Catherine Bell; brother Willie Wilburn (Lois); 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, and host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
