JAMES WILLIE MCCRARY JR

Elder James Willie McCrary Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 28,2024, in Grand Prairie, Texas, at the age of 73. Born on October 12, 1951, in Dallas, Texas, he was a lifelong resident of the community he cherished and dedicated his life to serving.

James was a man of deep faith, whose life was a testament to his unwavering devotion to God and his family. He touched the lives of many through his tireless work in the church and his generous heart. He was known for his kindness, humility, and ability to uplift those around him. As an Elder, he provided guidance and support to countless individuals, making a lasting impact in their lives.

James is lovingly remembered by his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, and a host of relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. His legacy of love and service will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.

The community is invited to gather in remembrance of James during a Prayer Service on November 14, 2024, at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas, starting at 7:15 PM, concluding at 8:15 PM. A Funeral Service will follow the next day, November 15, 2024, at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, beginning at 11:00 AM. Subsequently, James will be laid to rest in a burial service at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
