JAMES HENRY TARTER

James Henry Tarter, a man whose very essence will echo in the hearts of those who knew him, departed from this world on September 2, 2024, in Irving, Texas. Born on February 5, 1969, in the enchanting town of Paris, Texas. James grew to embody the values of hard work, family, and a genuine that drew people to him like moths to a flame.

His vibrant smile and infectious laughter were the hallmarks of his personality, illuminating every room he entered. He was not just a friend; he was a confidant, a supporter, and a steady presence in the lives of many. James possessed an unwavering dedication to his family, a devotion that shaped his proudest accomplishment—fatherhood. He was a guiding light, a nurturing hand, and a wellspring of wisdom for all those he cherished.

In his day-to-day life, James exuded an unparalleled energy, driven by a love for hard work and community. Whether immersed in the thrill of watching the Dallas Cowboys grace the field, reliving fond memories on the softball or football diamond, or indulging in the peace of reading the Bible, he found joy in the simplest pleasures. His evenings would resonate with laughter and warmth, as he often delighted in dancing and watching television, forever sharing moments that would become treasured memories.

As we gather to honor James, all are invited to join in the Wake Service at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas on September 13, 2024, at 7:15 PM, culminating around 8:15 PM. The following day, a Celebration of Life will be held at Solid Rock Baptist Church in Paris, Texas, commencing at 10:00 AM  where we will pay tribute to a life lived with passion and purpose.

Though he may no longer walk among us, James Henry Tarter leaves behind a legacy filled with love, laughter, and memories that will linger like the sweetest melody. He will be profoundly missed, yet forever remembered in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
