JANA CLARISHA COLEMAN
The world mourns the loss of Jana Clarisha Coleman, who passed away on December 18, 2023, at Charlton Methodist Medical Center in Dallas, TX Born on May 21, 1999, in the same city she called home, Jana's vibrant spirit and infectious laughter touched the lives of all who knew her.
Jana was a woman of many talents and passions. An extroverted soul, she was known for her talkative nature and her ability to bring laughter to any room. Her vivacious personality made her a joy to be around, and she had an uncanny ability to uplift and encourage those around her. Jana found great pleasure in celebrating the achievements and successes of others.
In addition to being a loving mother, Jana pursued various hobbies and interests that brought her immense happiness. She had a passion for writing poetry, using words as a medium to express her deepest emotions. Additionally, Jana was highly active and sporty, participating in basketball, Drill Team performances, volleyball matches, and excelling as a 100-meter runner in track and field events.
Jana's educational journey was marked by determination and commitment. She attended Florence Black Elementary School followed by Agnew Middle School and atteded Samuel High School. Her thirst for knowledge carried over into adulthood as she continued to learn and grow in all aspects of life.
Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects during the viewing service on December 29th at Golden Gate Funeral Home and A Crematory in Dallas. The viewing will take place from 12:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A wake service will follow on the same day, starting at 7:15 PM and concluding at 8:15 PM, also at Golden Gate Funeral Home and A Crematory.
A celebration of Jana's remarkable life will take place on December 30th at His Dwelling Place Worship Center in DeSoto, TX. This Celebration of Life service will commence at 11:00 AM, remembering and honoring the impact Jana had on all those fortunate enough to cross her path.
Jana is survived by her mother, Chandra Matts; father, Dimon Matts; sons La'Mariion Coleman and daughters Miracle Lawton and Destynii Matts. She is also lovingly remembered by her brothers Samuel Coleman and Deltayevion Coleman; sisters Tasheana Anderson, Samconnila Coleman, Contayiah Coleman, Janarria Coleman, Tynia Matts, Aynia Matts, and Dominque Matts. grandmother, Linda Gary and great grandmother, Clara Gary : aunts , Bridgett Gary and Tiffany Cooks : uncle , Rodney Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Their memories of Jana will forever be etched in their hearts as a testament to her love and care.
In this time of mourning, let us remember the vibrant spirit that Jana brought into all of our lives. Though she may no longer be physically present, her memory will live on in the hearts and minds of those who loved her. Jana's infectious laughter, words of encouragement, and zest for life will forever echo in our souls.
Rest in peace, dear Jana Clarisha Coleman. You have left an indelible imprint on this world with your love, kindness, and unyielding celebration of everyone around you. May your soul find eternal serenity in the embrace of heavenly grace.
