JANICE MARIE WINN

Janice Marie Winn, a beloved member of her community and a cherished friend to many, passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on November 13, 1951, Janice lived a life marked by her selflessness, compassion, and undeniable zest for life.

Her personality was characterized as jazzy and vibrant, reflecting her love for cooking, shopping, and traveling. Janice had a unique ability to make everyone feel special, and her caring nature made her a cornerstone in the lives of those who had the privilege to know her. She poured her heart into everything she did, especially in her role as a beauty shop owner and hair stylist, which she dedicated much of her life to. Her creative flair and warm disposition were constants in her work, making every visit to her salon a delightful experience.

In addition to her career, Janice was known for her time working at Ripley Shirt Company, where her dedication and work ethic earned her respect among her peers. She was a child of God, and her faith greatly influenced her interactions with others and her outlook on life.

Her legacy will be celebrated during a Wake Service on March 7, 2025, at Griggs Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, from 6 PM to 8 PM followed by a Funeral Service on March 8, 2025. At 1 PM Both events will be held at the church located at 1819 Fargo Street, where family, friends, and loved ones are invited to come together to honor the remarkable woman she was.

Janice Marie Winn is remembered not only for her contributions to her profession but also for the profound impact she had on the hearts of those around her. Her spirit will continue to inspire everyone fortunate enough to have crossed her path.
