Jerry Don Morrison was born to the parentage of Lawrence Morrison and Zelma Fort on August 25, 1947 in Dallas County, TX.
Jerry accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior at a young age. He was a devoted member of Word Harvest Church on Crandall St.
Jerry was educated in the Dallas County Independent School District. Jerry was employed with TAMKO Building Products from 1987 to 2009 where he retired after 21 years of dedicated service. Jerry resided in Kaufman County, Texas for over thirty years.
From his first marriage, a daughter was born, Yolanda Evette Morrison. From a second union a son was born, Jerry Don Morrison Jr.
Jerry honored and cherished the sanctity of holy matrimony. Jerry married Lucille Woodfox Morrison.
Preceding him in death were his father, Lawrence Morrison; mother, Zelma Fort Morrison; sisters, Marica Grant and Debra Morrison.
He leaves to honor his legacy: daughter, Yolanda Evette Morrison of Kaufman, TX; son, Jerry Don Morrison of Dallas, TX; brothers, Lawrence Morrison (Pearlie Ann) of Wilmer, TX, Michael Morrison (Phyllis) of Dallas, TX and Charles Morrison (Gladys) of Dallas, TX; sisters, Wanda Morrison of Dallas, TX and Patricia Eagans of Glenn Heights, TX; grandson, Ardis Lynn Harrison Jr. (Heather) of North Richland Hills, TX; granddaughters, Ashley Andraia Greene (Christopher) of Waxahachie, TX and Asyia Bryanna Harrison of Dallas, TX; eleven great grandchildren, Aniyah, Caleb, Jalee, Jordan, Noah, Elijah, Jeremiah, Joshua, Eden, Leah, Evelyn; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
