Born on October 19, 1942, in Sicilty Island, Louisiana, Jessie lived a life filled with warmth, hard work, and a deep passion for the people around her.

Jessie was known for her friendly demeanor and her unwavering commitment to those she loved. Her career in management  a local bowling center was marked by her impeccable work ethic and her ability to connect with others. Jessie truly enjoyed her job, where her friendly personality shone through, making her a treasured presence among colleagues and patrons alike.

A talented artist and an avid sports fan, Jessie had a range of hobbies that brought her joy. She took pride in being the first African American to join the Buzzard Bowling League, a testament to her trailblazing spirit. Jessie's love for bowling extended beyond competition; it was a social outlet where she built lasting friendships and shared laughter. Alongside bowling, she found pleasure in fishing, completing puzzles, and collecting cards, which reflected her diverse interests and vibrant personality.

As a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan and a follower of basketball legend Michael Jordan, Jessie embraced the excitement of sports with enthusiasm, often sharing spirited conversations and debates about her favorite teams and players with family and friends.

Among her proudest accomplishments were her family and the cherished moments spent witnessing her grandchildren graduate from college. These milestones filled her with immense pride and joy, serving as a reflection of her dedication to nurturing and supporting her loved ones.

Visitation services for Jessie Drone Brown will be held on February 27, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas.
