JESUS JAVIER ESQUIVEL

Jesus Javier Esquivel, born on November 27, 1962, in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2024, in Rockwall, Texas surrounded by his loved ones. 

Jesus was also well known as Jesse (Jess of all trades). He leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness that touched the hearts of everyone who knew him. 

Jesus was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Maria G. Esquivel; siblings, Rodolfo, Oralia, Laura Alicia and Paula Estela Esquivel. 

Jesus is survived by his daughter Jessica Esquivel-Smith and her husband Nick Smith; 5 grandchildren, Sean, Bresa, Anthony, Carlo and Jordan; brothers, Victor and Jose Esquivel; sisters, Sylvia Castañeda, Gracie Esparza and many other loving family and friends.

Jesus lived a life full of purpose and dedication. His unwavering spirit and gentle demeanor made him a beloved figure among his family, friends, and community members. Those who had the privilege of knowing him will forever remember his compassionate nature and his ability to brighten the lives of others.

A viewing to honor Jesus will be held on November 7, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, Texas, 75224. The following day, November 8, 2024, a funeral service will also take place at the same location, starting at 3:00 PM and concluding at 4:30 PM.

In this time of mourning, we remember Jesus not just for the final chapter of his life but for the countless memories and the joy he brought to our lives. His legacy will continue through the many lives he touched, ensuring that his spirit lives on in our hearts.
