JESUS GOMEZ SALINAS

Jesus Gomez Salinas, 82, of Dallas, Texas went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, August 14, 2021 . He was born May 6, 1939 in the small country town of Bustamante, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Eulalio Gomez and Juventina Salinas.

Jesus was a longtime resident of the East Dallas area and attended Parkview Church of God

Mr. Jesus Gomez held many jobs including working as a mi grant worker In South Texas (Valley) and Northern California in the 1950s. By the 1960s he had relocated his family to Dallas for better job opportunities, including working for the City of Dallas, Dallas Market Center, and Crescent Real Estate as his most important job was providing for and caring for his young family. He was very proud of his family and he whole heartedly loved his wife. He was strongly grounded in his Christian faith which became his foundation of how he lived his life. Although he faced many struggles and sacrifices, he was always thankful for God's will even during sickness. He was always grateful for his family, neighbors, and friends. He was unselfish, loving, kind, and hardworking. He could make friends easily and enjoyed telling them stories about his life experiences. He enjoyed watching old cowboy tv shows and working crossword puzzles. He always carried a small notebook and pen in his pocket. He loved math and taught his kids math games. You could count on him wearing his cowboy hat or a favorite cap.

Mr. Jesus Gomez was preceded in death by his late wife of 29 years, San Juana Gomez Cruz , and four brothers (Manuel, Catarino, Euluterio, and Jose) and 3 sisters (Juanita, Delfina, and Juventina) .

He is survived by his present wife Juanita Gomez Orozco of 19 years, his children, Dr Jose J. Gomez Jr., and wife Juanita of Idabel, Oklahoma and Janie and husband Jose Angel Saenz of Dallas, Texas. Jesus also is survived by his grandchildren, Miguel Angel Guerrero of Charleston, South Carolina, Ana-Julissa and husband Jay Clardy of Oklahoma City, Yasmine, Yulia, and Yacqueline Saenz of Dallas, Texas. His sisters, Maria Salazar of Dallas; Maria Del Refugio Cazares of Mexico, and brother, Blas Gomez of Laredo, Texas. He leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren, and other relatives and a host of friends.

Jesús Gómez Salinas, 82, de Dallas, Texas, fue a estar con nuestro Señor y Salvador Jesucristo el Sábado 14 de Agosto de 2021. Nació el 6 de mayo de 1939 en la pequeña ciudad rural de Bustamante, Nuevo León, México, hijo de Eulalio Gómez y Juventina Salinas.

Jesús residió durante mucho tiempo en el área del este de Dallas y asistió a la Iglesia de Dios Parkview

El Sr. Jesús Gómez tuvo muchos trabajos, incluido el de trabajador migrante en el sur de Texas (Valley) y el norte de California en la década de 1950. En la década de 1960, había trasladado a su familia a Dallas en busca de mejores oportunidades laborales, incluido el trabajo para la ciudad de Dallas, Dallas Market Center y Crescent Real Estate, ya que su trabajo más importante era mantener y cuidar a su joven familia. Fue desinteresado, cariñoso, amable y trabajador. Podía hacer amigos fácilmente y disfrutaba contándoles historias sobre sus experiencias de vida. Disfrutaba viendo viejos programas de televisión de vaqueros y trabajando crucigramas. Siempre llevaba un pequeño cuaderno y un bolígrafo en el bolsillo. Le encantaban las matemáticas y les enseñaba a sus hijos juegos de matemáticas. Podía contar con que él usaría su sombrero de vaquero o su gorra favorita.

El Sr. Jesús Gómez fue precedido en la muerte por su difunta esposa por 29 años, San Juan a Gómez Cruz, tuvo cuatro hermanos (Manuel, Catarino, Euluterio y José) y 3 hermanas (Juanita, Delfina y Juventina).

Le sobreviven su actual esposa Juanita Gomez Orozco de 19 años, sus hijos, el Dr. José J. Gomez Jr, y su esposa Juanita de Idabel, Oklahoma y Janie y su esposo José Angel Saenz de Dall as, Texas. A Jesús también le sobreviven sus nietos, Miguel Angel Guerrero de Charleston, Carolina del Sur, Ana-Julissa y su esposo Jay Clardy de Oklahoma City, Yasmine, Yulia y Yacqueline Saenz de Dallas, Texas. Sus hermanas, María Salazar de Dallas; María del Refugio Cazares de México, y su hermano, Blas Gómez de Laredo, Texas. Deja atrás a numerosas sobrinas, ahijados y otros parientes y una gran cantidad de amigos.
