JODI J JONES

Jodi J. Jones was born in Vernon, Texas on January 2, 1946 to Harold Foster Roquemore Sr. and Kizzie Roquemore (Rankins). She was the third from the youngest of 15 children.  She graduated high school from Doty High School in McKinney, TX. She attended Parks School of Business, Denver, CO. She has an associate degree from South Arkansas University Tech, Camden, AR. She also attended Concord Bible Institute of Biblical Studies, Dallas, TX and further intensive biblical training acquired through Bible Study Fellowship (BSF), Dallas, TX.

She married Rev. Bargany C. Jones on May 29th, 1971 and became parents to three children. She served as the Director of Women’s Ministries as well as an adult Sunday school teacher at Concord Baptist Church in Camden, AR. where her spouse served as pastor for over 35 years.

She has been a presenter and speaker for numerous church conferences and civic organizations recognized as an inspirational speaker that focuses on women and family issues.

Preceding her in death is her mother and father along with 6 brothers and 5 sisters.

Leaving to cherish her loving memories are her spouse,  Bargany C Jones Sr.; sons, Erik Charles Jones (Jean) of Dallas, TX and Bargany Conrad (Butch) Jones II (Maria) of McKinney, TX; daughter, Tori Rachae Jones of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Erin Jones, Nicholas Jones, Bargany Jones III (Tre’), Ava and Addisyn Jones. Siblings Edna Harris of Mesquite, TX, Sandra Weatherall of Mesquite, TX, Axie Petruna (Pat) Tisdell, Aurora, CO, and Barna Roquemore (Pam) of Ft Worth, TX.
