JOE LOUIS JONES

JOE LOUIS JONES, born on April 18, 1941, was a beloved figure known for his warmth and dedication to family and community. He passed away on December 24, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and camaraderie that will be cherished by all who knew him.

Joe was deeply involved in his church, serving as the Chairman of the Deacon Board, where his leadership and compassion touched the lives of many. He had a spirited passion for life, famously cheering on his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. Alongside his love for football, and serving at his place of worship, Joe had an undeniable talent for playing dominoes.

His caring nature made him not only a loving family member but also a cherished friend to many. Joe's infectious laughter and kind heart will be sorely missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Services to honor Joe L. Jones will be held on January 3rd and January 4th, 2025. A viewing will take place at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224, starting from 1:00 PM and concluding at 7:00 PM. The following day, a funeral service will be held at Southern Crest Full Gospel Baptist Church, located at 2325 Locust Ave, Dallas, TX 75216, beginning at 11:00 AM.
