JOE EARL WATSON

JOE EARL WATSON, a dedicated and beloved member of his community, passed away on October 28, 2024 in Irving, Texas. He was born on January 12, 1944, in Paris, Texas, and spent his life making a difference in the lives of others.

A high school graduate, Joe embarked on a career that exemplified his commitment to service. For many years, he worked as a bus driver, where he became known for his friendly demeanor and unwavering dedication to the safety and well-being of his passengers. His role allowed him to connect with countless individuals, earning their trust and respect throughout his years of service.

Joe is survived by his cherished children, Ashly Watson and Joniqua Watson. His legacy will carry on through them, as he instilled in them the values of hard work, kindness, and community spirit.

The celebration of Joe’s life will begin with a viewing on November 3, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects.

A funeral service will follow on November 4, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Bethany Missionary Baptist Church, found at 6710 Webster Street, Dallas, TX 75209. This service will be an opportunity to honor Joe’s life, reflect on cherished memories, and celebrate the love he shared with his family and community.

Joe Earl Watson will be remembered for his warmth, compassion, and the positive impact he had on the lives of those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his children and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
