Joenell Simpkins was born December 25,1945 in Josephine, TX to the parentage of Effie Clark Perry and Will Perry Sr. She attended McKinney ISD during her childhood. Joenell accepted Christ in her life at an early age at St. Luke Baptist Church in Josephine, TX. ln the early 80's she worked for Tecor Electronics in which she later retired. Joenell was a very transparent, outspoken, yet loving individual. Although she had no biological children, she was well known to her nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly as "Auntie". The day she departed this life our hearts were torn and shattered to pieces. But we know GOD welcomed her with open arms freeing her from all pain and suffering. For we would surely rather have her here with us, we know that she is exactly where she wants to be reunited with her mother, sister, brother, and special aunt. Although her death has left a void in our hearts we will forever cherish the memories we had with her and carry her in our hearts forever.
She leaves to cherish her memories: four brothers: Ronnie Perry (Truscie) of Midland, TX Oliver Perry (Cynthia) of Fort Worth TX. Troy Perry and Jack Perry all of Dallas, TX; three sisters: Linda Pride, Vera Stephens, and Ubell Moss all of Dallas TX; special friends: Rebecca Sneed, Sharon Combs, Ora Herron; special nieces: Kendra Perry, Breion Perry, Tunasia Perry, Miah Perry, Dalya Perry, Keoina Kinney and Alayah Perry; special nephews, Courtney Bennett, Darius Perry, D'Andre Perry, Jordan Perry, Bryson Allen and Jayden Starks; as well as host of other nieces nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Effie Perry; brother: Will Perry Jr, and sisters Florence Jean and Luverta Paschal.
