JOHN CLARK

John Edward Clark was born September 4, 1941 in Fort Worth, Texas to the parentage of William Henry Clark, Sr. and his bride Gertrude Allen Clark. He received his schooling at Como Elementary and Como Jr-Sr High School. John served his country in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1964 in Europe and the Pacific Northwest, where he met and married Tonna Taylor. From this union he fathered three children: Waneta Clark-Cole (Michael) of Portland, Oregon, Caleta Clark of Fort Worth, Texas, and John D. Clark of Fort Worth, Texas. John welcomed Jesus Christ into his life during mid-life, and faithfully served his church, Spirit of Truth, in many leadership roles until his passing on July 27, 2021 a few months short of his 80th birthday. John was preceded in death by his father William, his mother Gertrude, and his sister Evelyn Davidson Johnson.
