John Eric Joe, affectionately known as "J.J.," was born in Arlington on November 14, 1970, and departed this world on February 25, 2025, leaving behind a legacy woven with passion, commitment, and love. Throughout his remarkable life, JJ made profound contributions to the world around him, establishing himself not only as a talented color commentator for the Baylor Radio Station but also as a cherished figure within his community.

J.J.’s journey began as a young athlete, where he embraced the rigors of sport with commendable dedication. He proudly played quarterback for Baylor University from 1990 to 1993, a period that marked not only the pinnacle of his early achievements but also solidified his lasting bond with a community that revered him as both a player and a person. Both services will take place at Forest Hill Church of Christ, located at 3916 Forest Hill Circle, Forest Hill, TX 76140. These gatherings will serve as a testament to the love and respect J.J. inspired throughout his life, bringing together family, friends, and admirers, united in remembrance of a remarkable man.
