Jonathan Lamar Colbert, 32, of Fort Worth, TX, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020.
Jonathan was born on Tuesday, July 12, 1988 to Catrena Tims and Robert Colbert in Corsicana, TX. Jonathan graduated from Green B. Trimble Technical High School in 2006. In July 2020, Jonathan completed the Information Technology Security and Administration program at MyComputerCareer.
Jonathan was a dedicated and loving father to three biological children and three extended children, Jaylon, Anaya, Amayria Colbert, Gabrielle, Jourden, and Mya Franklin. In addition, Jonathan also loved playing basketball, roughhousing with his dog, Ali, and spending time with his family and friends.
Jonathan gave his life to Christ at the age of 10 on May 2, 1999. Throughout his life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him.
He is survived by his parents Catrena and Donald Tims and Robert and Terri Colbert, his siblings Rachel Tims, Robert Colbert Jr., and Terrance Rush; his children Jaylon, Anaya, and Amayria Colbert and their mother Sharnice Darden; his extended children Gabrielle, Jourden, and Mya Franklin and his longtime girlfriend Tina Graham; his grandparents Mary Douglas, Gloria and Tim Bull; his aunts Priscilla Faggans, Patricia Evans, Sarah Thomas, Minnie Mae Logan, Anastasia Gordan; his uncles James Douglas, Robert Thomas, and Garland Douglas Jr.; his best friends Larry Davis, Cameron Smith, Aaron Thompson, Joshua Johnson, and Monique Myers; and a host of relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
