JOSEPH HEMPHILL

Joseph El Hemphill was born July 23, 1974 to Ms. Clarice Hemphill who preceded him in death. He was raised by his great aunt and uncle Taylor.

He is a graduate of David W. Carter High School. He pursued a Bachelor’s of Science in business degree. As a software expert, he worked at several corporate offices: Tiffany and Company, Seven Eleven Corporation, J. C. Penny and Advance Auto Corporation. Joseph owned several business’ such as the African American Business Professional Network, Equal Horizon Investment LLC, Women of Destiny Purpose Ministries. He was also an Elder and Minister of The Potter’s House Church. He served as Grand Master of King of Kings Lodge AF & AM. He also launched the Queen of Queens Chapter Order of Eastern Star.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his brother Ronald Hemphill; sister Martha Hemphill; nephews Jerrik Nash, Jeremiah Hemphill; niece Emiah Hemphill; and a host of relatives and friends.

Two brothers, Donald Hemphill and Michael Hemphill preceded him in death.
