Judy Kaye Dilworth was born on the 6th day of September in 1957 in Dallas to the late Isaiah âSonnyâ Dilworth and Mae Belle Thomas. She graduated from South Oak Cliff High School in 1975 at sixteen years old and attended El Centro College. She was a lover of knowledge and an avid reader who played an active role in the life of her family.
Judy worked as a home health worker, an infamous wig stylist, and a preschool teacher. She was affectionately known to her friends and family as our own âMartha Stewartâ because she was often asked to recreate recipes and magazine cover desserts, and to give advice on cleaning and organizing.
Judy united with the First Fellowship Community Church in 2001.
Left to cherish her memories:
Her mother, Mae Belle Thomas; her husband, George âPeteyâ Higgins; her son Jason Dilworth (Becky) of Richardson, TX; her daughter, Nayah Simone Dilworth of Dallas, TX; three granddaughters Amaya Valentine, Elizabeth Dilworth, Laila Rose Valentine and two grandsons, Eddie Dilworth and Xavieran Valentine; her siblings, Dr. Lois Gregory (George), Freddie Alexander, Muriel Joy Stice, and Sherry Lynn Thomas and a host of other relatives and friends.
