KEITH BROOKINS

Keith Russell Brookins Sr. was born August 30, 1973 in St. Louis, MO to Phil and Kenneth.

Keith departed his earthly life on June 22, 2018. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Amanda L. Gentry; grandfather, Henry O. Gentry; and uncle Stephen Gentry.

Keith graduated from Parkway Central High School in St. Louis, Missouri. He attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA and later Vatterot College in Dallas, TX were he became certified as a HVAC technician.

He confessed his life to Christ at the age of 12 years old. He was a devoted Christian, worshipping and praising The Lord.

Keith was a loving husband, devoted father, faithful son, and caring friend. He was passionate about taking care of everyone in his family. He loved being a father, a protector, mentor, and great conservationist. He never met a stranger.

He leaves to cherish his memories; mother Phil (Jerome) Dunbar of Dallas, TX; father Kenneth R. Brookins of Montgomery, MO;  wife Tanika Brookins; two children, Keith Brookins Jr. of St. Louis, MO and Jazlyn Brookins; brother Kahleem (Arteisha) Brookins of Garland, TX; Kenisha Snipes of St. Louis, MO. Also three step children Brittany, Caleb, and Talayeh Perry;  and a host of paternal siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
