A time for family – On June 14th, 1967, Kenny married the love of his life, Clara Mae Okray of 56 years.
A time to work – Mr. Kenny Polk worked at Henderson Lumber Company at an early age until he moved to Dallas Texas, where he continued to work for Leo Concrete for 40 years.
A time for hobbies – Mr. Kenny Polk, loved to go fishing and to watch his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys.
A time to mourn – Kenny was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Jesse Polk and Elese Berkeley Polk, as well as his cherished siblings: Jesse Polk Jr., Dewey Polk, J.B. Polk, Hayward Polk, Clyde Polk, Ruby Smith, and Opal Proctor.
A time of transition – Mr. Kenny Polk departed this life on Wednesday, April 10th, 2024, surrounded by the comforts of his residence in Dallas, Texas. He leaves behind a legacy cherished by his devoted wife, Clara Mae Polk. Among those who will hold his memory dear are his two sisters, Ethal Proctor and Mary Joe Polk, both of Dallas, Texas, as well as a loving nest of nephews, nieces, and a broad community of relatives and friends who were touched by his kindness and warmth.
