In the heart of Dallas, a light that shone bright with wit and warmth has dimmed as we mourn the passing of Kevin Wayne Booker. Born in the vibrant city he called home, Kevin's journey began on February 19, 1969, and came to a peaceful close on February 18, 2024.

Kevin was known not only for his role as a dedicated machine operator at Owens Corning but also for the way he effortlessly intertwined work with laughter and friendship. His knack for humor, coupled with his intelligent quips, made every day in the industrial setting brighter and more enjoyable for those around him.

Outside of his professional life, Kevin's true colors shone through in his passions and pastimes. An avid traveler at heart, he found solace and excitement in exploring new places near and far. The thrill of casinos, the strategic play of card games, and the camaraderie of dominoes were all activities that brought him joy beyond measure.

Those who knew Kevin would attest to his multifaceted personality - smart yet sarcastic, happy yet funny, loving yet caring. He exuded a financial consciousness that was unparalleled, a trait that showcased his foresight and responsibility in all aspects of life.

A man who took immense pride in his family, Kevin often spoke of his wife and children and grandchildren as his proudest accomplishments. The love he held for them was evident in every word spoken and every action taken; they were truly the center of his universe.

As we gather to bid farewell to Kevin Wayne Booker, let us remember not only the roles he played in our lives but also the essence of who he was - a compassionate soul with a quick wit and a warm heart. The viewing will take place on March 1, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas. A Celebration of Life will follow on March 2, 2024, from 1:00 PM  at the same location.
