KEVIN RYAN WILBURN, born on July 30, 1965, departed this world on September 27, 2024. A beloved soul whose warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him Kevin’s life was a testament to the beauty of unconditional love and joy.
Kevin was known for his special bond with his sister, Kassie. Their connection was rare and profound, full of moments that illustrated the extraordinary love they shared. Kevin's affection for Kassie was not simply of words but expressed through acts of kindness and support. Together, they created memories that filled their lives with laughter and joy, a legacy of brotherly love.
Throughout his life, Kevin embraced experiences that most would only dream of. His hobbies included fishing, where he found peace and excitement at the water’s edge, patiently waiting for the next catch while sharing the tranquility of nature. His participation in the Special Olympics brought him immense joy, as he excelled in swimming, track, and football. These experiences not only showcased his athletic talents but also brought him into a community filled with warmth and encouragement.
Kevin had a zest for life that was reflected in his love for food. Whether indulging in crispy fried chicken, savoring smoky BBQ, indulging in icy cold ice cream, or delighting in sweet pecan pie, every meal was an opportunity for happiness, shared with those he cherished.
As we gather to celebrate his life, we invite friends and loved ones to honor Kevin's memory during the viewing on October 7, 2024, from 1 PM to 7 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. A graveside service will follow on October 8, 2024, at 11 AM at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas.
