Kirkland Dewayne Luckey, a beloved son, father, and friend, passed away on March 25, 2024, in his hometown of Dallas, Texas. Born on May 24, 1972, Kirkland was known for his vibrant personality and charismatic nature.
Those who knew Kirkland remember him as a man who exuded humor and knowledge in equal measure. His witty jokes could light up any room, while his profound understanding of the world left a lasting impact on those around him. While he could be stern when necessary, Kirkland's true essence shone through as someone who welcomed everyone he met with open arms.
Kirkland had a passion for life that reflected in his hobbies and interests. Whether he was mastering the art of barbeque, cooking up delicious meals, or enjoying an evening out at one of his favorite spots. Kirkland always found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He took pride in his ability to work on his many cars.
One of Kirkland's proudest accomplishments was his children. He cherished them deeply and took immense pride in watching them grow and flourish. In his younger years, Kirkland also made a name for himself in football with memorable touchdowns that showcased his talent and dedication to the sport.

- A Celebration of Life will take place on April 6, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Greater Providence Baptist Church in Dallas.
