Kristopher Ray Dickerson, age 30, passed away July 12, 2018 suddenly from a Pulmonary Embolism (Blood Clot) that started in his leg and moved to his heart and lungs. His mother was by his side when he went to be with the Lord.
He was born on January 8, 1988 in Alexandria, VA to Kennedy Ray Dickerson and Kimberley Johnson. He graduated in 2006 from West Mesquite High School. After completing his Associates Degree in Psychology from Richland College he enrolled into the University of Texas Dallas where he pursued a Bachelor’s Degree. But Kris had a greater calling of dedication to his country and thereby enlisted into the U.S. Navy in 2014 where he served in South Korea and Guam. Kris loved soccer, superhero movies Jiu-jitsu and anything Batman.
Kristopher is survived by his mother Kimberley Johnson; father Kennedy Ray Dickerson; maternal grandmother Minnie Ruth Porter of Newton, Mississippi; uncles Miles D Johnson (Vikki), Keith Johnson (Alice) and Renard Thames; aunts Fern Hamilton (John), Jacqueline Patton (Larry), Paula Johnson, and Marcia Dickerson; and a host of beloved cousins, relatives and friends.
Kris was preceded in death by paternal grandfathers Miles Johnson, and James Dickerson Jr., grandmother Christine Dickerson and uncle Edward Dickerson.
