Born on February 20, 1949, Larry was a man whose very spirit resonated with warmth, his heart forever open to anyone in need. A sweet soul with a sharp wit, Larry knew how to bring laughter to the darkest of times, always ready to speak his mind while being considerate of those around him.

Larry found immense joy in the activities that connected him with nature and family. An avid fisher, he often spent tranquil mornings by the water, the rhythmic casting of his line a serene reflection of his spirit. His grilling skills were unmatched—a maestro at the BBQ, Larry could transform any gathering into a feast, bringing friends and family together around the inviting embrace of the grill. His yard, a testament to his love for the outdoors, flourished under his care, mirroring the love he poured into his life.

In recognition of the indelible mark he left on those fortunate enough to know him, a Prayer Service will be held in his honor on October 4, 2024, starting at 6:30 PM at the Mt Gilead Missionary Baptist Church in Italy, Texas. This will be followed by a Funeral Service on October 5, 2024, beginning at 1:00 PM, again at the same cherished location, where family and friends will come together to celebrate a life well-lived and a spirit that touched so many.

Larry’s essence was one of unwavering support; he truly would do anything for anyone. A loving husband, father, and friend, he embodied the qualities we hold dear in our hearts—his helpfulness only matched by his intelligence and his loving nature. Those who knew him will forever treasure the memories, the laughter, and the endless acts of kindness that marked each interaction with this remarkable man.
