Laura was a reserved, soft-spoken woman whose sweetness radiated in her everyday interactions, and she always found strength in her love for the Lord.

The essence of Laura can be captured in the little things—her delight in tending to her garden, watching her flowers bloom as brightly as the love she nurtured in her family. Her sewing skills crafted more than just fabric; they wove the stories of cherished moments, memories sewn with affection, ever-ready to wrap loved ones in comfort. Above all, Laura was immensely proud of her children, Derrick and Janice, who were the stars in her sky. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a viewing at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas, on March 11, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on March 12, 2025, at the Abundant Life Church of God in Christ, beginning at 11:00 AM.
