Leavy Adams Jr was the youngest child born on November 29, 1928 in Wills Point, Texas to the union of Elvira Jackson and Leavy Adams Sr (whom both proceed him in death). His sisters Louise Scott and Ruth Ellen Ferguson also proceed him in death. He received his education in the Wills Point school district, graduating from Wills Point High School.

After graduation, Leavy began working in the transportation industry. He eventually began working as a truck driver for the US postal service in Dallas, TX for many years until he retired.

July 19, 1965 he married the love of his life, Cloteal Jones, to that union one child was born.

Leavy accepted Christ in his life one day while on the road transporting mail. He heard a radio broadcast by the late Bishop Harold Smith and from that moment he knew where he would spend his eternal life. He made it a point to return to First Full Gospel Pentecostal Church where he had been a member until his passing.

He leaves behind to cherish, his wife, Cloteal Adams; daughter, Andra; two sons, Bobbie and Gregory; eight grandkids, Anthony (Deidre), Tanya, Quincy Sr (Yolanda), Christopher, Mongolden, Reginald, Sheria, Crystal; and six great grand children. A host of other nieces, nephews, church family and friends. Whether he was moving people or products he never met a stranger. Always offering words of encouragement or just to spread the good news of the lord. Leavy Adams Jr will be loved and missed by many.
