LEROY FLANNIGAN JR

Leroy Flannigan Jr., a devoted family man and cherished member of his community, passed away peacefully on October 21 2024, at the age of 92. Born on March 20, 1932, Leroy was known for his sharp dressing and his unwavering dedication to his loved ones.

A man of few words, Leroy possessed a calm demeanor and a no-nonsense attitude that garnered respect from all who knew him. He was laid back in nature but radiated a warmth that was felt deeply by family and friends alike. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he took great joy in attending church services where he nurtured his spiritual connections.

Leroy's life was marked by 67 years of marriage to his beloved wife, Ora Flannigan. Together, they built a loving family that became the foundation of his happiness. Leroy is survived by their three children, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, each of whom will carry forward his legacy of love and dedication.

A viewing will be held on November 1, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. The funeral service will take place the following day, November 2, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Greater St. John Primitive Baptist Church, also in Dallas.
