LEVERDIA JEAN ROBERSON

LEVERDIA JEAN ROBERSON, a nurturing mother figure to many, embarked on her eternal journey on February 28, 2025, in the vibrant city of Dallas, Texas. She was born on December 12, 1950, in Tyler, Texas, and lived a life infused with love, warmth, and an unyielding spirit that engendered deep connections across her community.

Leverdia, often affectionately known for her lively and sweet disposition, embodied what it meant to be caring and giving. Her laughter was like a gentle breeze, uplifting those around her, and she poured her heart into everything she did—from baking delightful treats to creating beautiful arts and crafts that brought joy to countless souls.

Her home, a sanctuary filled with the aroma of home-cooked meals and the soft tunes of “In the Heat of the Night,” was where many found solace. Leverdia had a remarkable gift for making people feel seen and cherished; her vibrant personality and loving nature made her not only a beloved mother to her two sons, Donald and Lester Jr., but also a mother figure to many others who sought her guidance and nurturing embrace.

Leverdia's legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Keiah, Ibis, Ma'at, Nefertain, Ariel, and King, each of whom carries the essence of her spirit within their hearts. Her influence and love will echo through generations, a gentle reminder of a woman who dedicated her life to uplifting others and sharing the simple joys of existence.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at a wake  Service on March 12, 2003, from 7:15 PM to 8:15 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home, Dallas. The viewing will take place on March 12, 2025, starting at 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will follow on March 13, 2025, at True Church Power House Ministries in Dallas at 11:00 AM,
