LINDA LESTER

Linda Kay Lester was born, June 4, 1949 in Fort, Worth, Texas to the late Ollie Marie Thompson. She was the third born of five children. Linda had a passion for shopping. She enjoyed cooking and baking and passed her talents to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with and listening to her grandchildren's accomplishments and stories. Linda retired from GSA after 21 years of service. She was Known for her sharp with and funny personality. She will be truly missed by her peers. On Wednesday, January 20, 2021, Linda transitioned from her earthly home to be with the Lord. An angel has gained her wings. Linda is preceded in death by her mother Ollie Thompson and her brothers Charles & Chester Washington. She is survived by her five children Rickey Washington, Russell Washington, Demetrius Washington, Turshannon Jackson, Marques Lester; her five grandchildren Alison McCulluogh, Chance Brice, Kyland Jackson, Noah Washington, Alexus Jackson and three great-grandchildren Mason Starks, Bryce McCullough, and A'nelle Jackson. She will also be greatly missed by her sisters Barbara Edwards, Cheryl Washington, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
