LONNIE MCGUIRE

Mr. Lonnie McGuire was born to George McGuire and Amanda Titus McGuire on March 18, 1949 in Dallas, Tx. He attended C.F. Carr Elementary School and Sequoyah Jr. High and L.G. Pinkston High School. He was on the golf team. Lonnie graduated in the class of 1967 from L.G. Pinkston. Lonnie attended Greater Progressive Baptist Church. As a young man. He maintained a relationship with Christ throughout his life. He worked at Texas Instrument, Kellogg American and later for the City of Dallas. He retired in 2005. Lonnie had two beautiful girls from his first marriage to Doris Watkins; Adrinne McGuire Betts (Darryl) and Madeline McGuire Jackson (Trevor) He then later married Grace H. Hicks in 1979 to which one daughter and son were born; Ursula McGuire, Craig McGuire. Lonnie also has a son, Lonnie Hornsby. Lonnie is preceded in death by his parents, George McGuire and Amanda Titus-McGuire, brothers; Ben McGuire, George McGuire Jr., Ennis McGuire, and Phillip McGuire, sisters; Linnie McGuire, Georgia McGuire Bonner and grandson Dominique Jackson. He leaves to cherish his memories; his wife; Grace H. McGuire of 42 years, three daughters; Ursula A. McGuire, Adrienne McGuire- Betts, Madeline McGuire- Jackson, two sons; Craig D. McGuire, Lonnie Hornsby, his brothers, Truman McGuire (Loudine), Raymond McGuire, Sammy McGuire (Sandra), Anderson McGuire (Sandra), Mack McGuire (Troshane), sister, Adell McGuire Sheppard (David), twelve grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
