Mrs. Loreader Casey was born on April 11, 1935 in Terrell, Texas. Loreader received very little formal education, but street smarts were considered extraordinary.
She earned a living as a domestic worker and seamstress, until bitten by the entrepreneurial bug at which time Loreader and Wylie started and operated Rose Janitorial Service. Her true calling was to gave back to the community, she operated/directed the Miss Dalworth Beauty Pageant for several years, directed the Dalworth Dragons football and drill team, and the Grand Prairie Falcons football and drill team. Most of all she always extended a hand to those who needed help asking for nothing in return, and always with GRACE and LOVE.
Loreader was married to Wylie for 65 years, he preceded her in death 2001. Loreader was a loving mother and community activist she leaves to cherish her memories: daughter Rita Casey and Melissa Garrett; sons John Casey Sr. (Angelia) and Wylie Bailey Casey Jr. (Dedra) who preceded her in death on January 13, 2004; granddaughters Ebonie Casey and Draeke Casey; grandsons Quincy Casey, Marcus Casey (Gloria), Sterling Casey, Devonne Casey, and John Casey Jr, sisters Ann Smith (Harry) who precede her in death, and Cynthia Brown; brother Jeffery Brown who preceded her in death; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great grandchildren and loved ones.
