LUCILLE FRANCES TURNER

February 11, 1953 - December 13, 2023

With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to the vibrant and charismatic Lucille Frances Turner. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Lucille was taken from us too soon in Ft. Worth, leaving a void that can never be filled. As we mourn her passing, let us take solace in celebrating the incredible life she lived.

Born on February 11, 1953, Lucille grew up in West Monroe, Louisiana. From a young age, it was clear that she possessed an extraordinary spirit that would shape her journey through life. One of her proudest accomplishments was serving as the Drum Major at Richardson High School in West Monroe. She took pride in leading her fellow musicians with grace and passion.

Lucille had an outgoing personality that drew people to her like moths to a flame. She retired after 20 years as a Dietician   Supervisor from Lincoln Park Nursing  Home . She had an unmatched zest for life and could light up any room with her infectious smile. Her laughter was contagious, and it seemed like she always had a twinkle in her eye. Lucille loved nothing more than being surrounded by family and friends, and she always opened her home with open arms and an open heart.

If there was one thing Lucille adored as much as the company of loved ones, it was music. She had an unwavering love for the blues and could often be found dancing with abandon whenever a catchy tune hit the airwaves. Lucille truly knew how to let loose and enjoy every moment to its fullest.

A woman of great warmth and generosity, Lucille's legacy will forever live on in the countless lives she touched. She leaves behind cherished memories with her beloved daughters Shonett and Lashonda, as well as her son Tyron. They were not only her children but also her greatest source of pride and joy.

Lucille was predeceased by her mother, Maydine McLemore, and her father, Garf McLemore. Their love and guidance played a significant role in shaping the remarkable woman she became.

Her impact extended far beyond her immediate family. Lucille leaves behind an extensive network of relatives and friends who were fortunate enough to experience her kindness and love firsthand. She had an uncanny ability to make everyone around her feel special and valued.

We gather here today to celebrate the life of Lucille Frances Turner. The funeral service will be held on December 22, 2023, at the Holy Temple in Monroe, Louisiana. Friends and loved ones will have the opportunity to pay their respects starting at 2:00 PM, with the official service commencing at 3:00 PM.

As we bid farewell to Lucille, let us remember her zest for life, love for music, and unwavering devotion to family and friends. May her spirit forever inspire us to embrace each day with joy, dance like nobody's watching, and cherish those dear to our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you consider making a donation in Lucille's name to a music education program or a charity close to your heart. Let us honor her memory by spreading light and love in a world that desperately needs it.

Rest in eternal peace, dear Lucille. You will be profoundly missed but never forgotten. May your soul find solace in the melody of the blues as it dances amongst the stars above.
