MARIAN DAVIS

Marian Lavera Davis, age 70, was born on July 19, 1949 in Talihina, OK to Elmer Barcus, Sr. and Ruby Sexton Barcus of Atoka, OK. Marian passed away on April 10, 2020 in Dallas, Tx. Marian was married to Jerry Dewayne Davis on April 11, 1969. She retired from Baylor Hospital Medical Center in 2011 and enjoyed going to church, spending time with her family and friends. She loved the Lord and never met a stranger.

Marian is survived by her sister, Anita Kay Barcus of Atoka, OK and brother, Elmer Barcus Jr. of Atoka, Ok; daughter Jerri Barron and son-in-law Samuel Barron of Dallas, Tx; 6 granddaughters: Jessica Ann Davila of Ruidoso, NM; Ruby Marie Arredondo and Patrick Suarez of Dallas, Tx; Veronica Arredondo of Dallas, Tx; Sylvia Ann Garcia and husband, Tony Garcia of Dallas, Tx; Desiree Alyssa Davis and fiance, Felix Fonseca of Dallas, Tx; and Priscilla Morningstar Villa of Dallas, Tx; 8 great-grandchildren: Jairemyah Rocha, Julissa Rocha and Juliana Rocha of Ruidoso, NM; Giselle Nunez, Amerie Guzman, Ryan Suarez, Audrina Garcia and Genavie Suarez of Dallas, Tx; brother-in-law Gerald Maxi Davis and Melba Davis of Cedar Hill, Tx; along with other nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

Marian is preceded in death by her father, Elmer Barcus, Sr.; mother, Ruby Sexton Barcus; brothers, Marvin Sanders Barcus and Benny John Barcus; husband, Jerry Dewayne Davis; and daughters, Patricia Faye Davila and Duana Dee Davis.
