MARLENE SHELLY

Marlene Shelly was born July 14, 1959, in Dallas, Texas, to Katie Lee Shelly and Willie Shelly, Sr. She had ten siblings, one of which was her twin sister. She attended Lincoln High School and graduated in 1976. She worked in Dallas, Texas, at Laquinta Inn and CC Young Assisted Living Facility in the housekeeping department.
She attended Rev. Bush’s church in Oak Cliff, Right Way Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish: her three children, Kathy Shelly, James Shelly and Robert Kelly, Jr.; seven grandchildren, Katyvia Dye, James Shelly, Jr., Derricka Shelly, Sylvia Payne, Charlesha Spencer, De’Kiyran Collins and Jacob Shelly; and six surviving siblings, Albert Charles Shelly, Rev. J.E. Shelly, Virgie Shelly, her twin, Maxine Shelly McDonald, Renee Shelly and Rickey Shelly.

She will be joining her four other siblings in Heaven, Kathryn Shelly, Robert Shelly, Willie Shelly, Jr., and Jessie Shelly.

Marlene enjoyed watching I Love Lucy, Sanford and Son, Good Times and Tom & Jerry. In her spare time, she loved playing dominoes, and she enjoyed cooking
