Marquis Dion Cook was born in Dallas, Texas, on December 28, 1984, to Samone Gaston Cooper and Vincent McDaniel. He received his formal education within Dallas Independent School District and received his diploma from W.W. Samuell High School. He continued his education and later received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from Prairie View A&M University. He had a one of a kind personality. To know him was to love him. He had a great passion for movies and for writing.
However, his greatest passion was his unconditional love for his family.
His grandmother, Eula McDaniel, preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Samone Gaston Cooper; father, Vincent McDaniel (Cherita); two bonus moms, Bridget Rush and Sonja McDaniel; grandparents, Matthew and Patricia Haley; one sister, Gentry Brooks (Courtney); seven brothers, Vincent McDaniel II (Lamonyka), Floyd Gaston (Danielle), Darion Smith (Amber), Zachary Sanders, Joredan McDaniel, Zachary August, and Avery August; four nieces, Madison, Jayla, Khalia, and Kennedy; nephews, Darion Jr. and Elijah; aunts, Kimberly Cook and Chandra Reid (Gregory); four uncles, Michael Smith, Tony Smith, Reginald McDaniel, and Mark McDaniel (Lillian); great-aunts, Gwendolyn Smith, Lois Fantroy, Juanita Weaver (Billy), and Betty Tatum; and a host of special cousins, other relatives and friends.
